Who We Are
Our history
MidCoast Vegetation Management, formally known as Best Bet Earthworks & Vegetation Management, was started by Sam Lowman in late 2017.
After completing a mechanical apprenticeship, Sam spent several years operating and maintaining earthmoving plant & equipment on small and large civil construction and mining sites.
He combined his developed skills with his passion for the environment, operating his own machinery while engaging in sustainable land clearing and invasive weed management practices.
Fast forward to 2022, MidCoast Vegetation Management now has several items of plant and equipment and is operating out of our centrally located facility near Taree. Our main area of service includes the MidCoast and Hastings Council areas. We also offer services from Newcastle and the Hunter Valley to Coffs Harbour, and West to Tamworth and we will happily travel to any location in NSW for project works.
Our clients vary from private landholders, large development, and civil construction companies to Government departments.

We aim to always conduct business in an integral manner doing the right thing by the client and the environment all while maintaining a high standard of Workplace Health and Safety.

We have been trusted with large-scale projects including long-term government contracts and project management for some of the country's largest land developers.
